Drumcondra and Glasnevin are areas that are rich in history, Listed below are just some of the places that can be visited.
Glasnevin Cemetery
The Largest Cemetery in Ireland was first opened in 1832. It is lovingly referred to by Dubliners as the DEAD centre of Dublin.
​​​Did you know that there are Priests, Bishops and Popes Buried there, but no Cardinals (Thats their surnames of course).
​The First thing you see as you enter through the cemetery main gates is the O'Connell Tower. At 55 metres high it is Irelands tallest round tower and is sited on ground that is 33 metres above sea level. It was built with granite walls in 1869 to honour the Irish politician Daniel O Connell. ​
